A storm chase into the Clarence Valley paid off early evening on 12th November 2011 when an isolated supercell developed and slowly tracked across Grafton from later afternoon and into the evening. Jason Paterson and I were treated to the show of the season with powerful stacatto bolts dominating. A couple of the photos were taken while driving - hitting extremely close to the car.
The next day more thunderstorms spread through the region but a linear windshear profile prevented organised storms. Some lightning was observed from home.
