The second last day of Winter provided another "out-of-season" setup for lightning photography. These were all taken from home at McLeans Ridges, NSW as storms persisted and spread in from the WNW.
After a fairly quiet September for storms things became active again in October - though no lightning opportunities until the 15th. These were taken near Casino, NSW while on chase with Jason Paterson. A number of storms developed in the far NW of the Northern Rivers region before spreading into SE Queensland later in the afternoon. The lightning trigger was used for these shots.
