Lightning from thunderstorms along the coastline 14 November 2016. A full moon added a lot of light to the scene.
Late afternoon storm chase on 27 November followed by some lightning as viewed from McLeans Ridges, NSW. This was the 2nd day of a 13 day run of consecutive thunderstorms and storm chasing. All chase pics here
A number of storms occurred on 28 November but the best was towards evening as a large shelf cloud formed. All chase pics here. Snapped the same valley impact bolt with two different cameras (50mm and 16mm lenses).
Two crazy supercell storm chase days with a ridiculous amount of large hail on 30 Nov and 1 Dec and also a large funnel cloud. These distrant lightning shots were taken from home on 1 December as the storm activity cleared.
