After a bust afternoon with no storms developing in the region, a very active lightning show occurred during the early evening. These were taken at Tregeagle.
A very lucky daytime branched stacatto lightning photo on 8th December 2005. This storm was very active with lightning, but I still managed to press the shutter the exact moment lightning fired. I didn't even realise this until reviewing the pictures later on. The second photo is very distant anvil crawler lightning later in the evening. Storm chase report here
